Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: July 1, 2025
This Agreement is made between Talking About AI ("Provider", "we", "us", "our") and the individual enrolling in the online course ("Student", "Students", "User", "Users", "you", "your").
By enrolling in and accessing the online course provided by Talking About AI, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, do not enroll in or access the course. Students are responsible for their own results and outcomes.
1. Course Description and Access
Course Description
You are enrolling in the Production RAG Foundations course, which is designed to give you the foundation you need to build, evaluate, and scale a RAG application in production.
Duration and Access
Once purchased, students will have lifetime access to the course content from the day of completed course checkout, along with additions and updates to the course.
Format and Delivery
The course may include videos, documents, audio recordings, text, images, quizzes, projects, community spaces, online modules, coding exercises, community forums (access to Discord server), and other support materials and activities.
2. Payment Terms
Price and Payment Methods
The course cost is $497, accepted through Stripe and their supported payment options.
Payment Plans and Fees
No payment plans are available at this time outside of what is offered natively through Stripe.

- Any platform or payment processing fees incurred
3. Transferability and Account Security
Non-Transferable License
The license to access and use the course content is granted solely to the student and is non-transferable and non-sublicensable. Students cannot transfer their purchase to another course or student. Sharing login information or allowing others to access the course using the student's credentials is strictly prohibited.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Intellectual Property and Copyright
Ownership of Course Materials
The course content, materials, and associated elements (e.g., logo, brand name) are the intellectual property of Talking About AI. All lectures, course materials (including presentations, tests, exams, outlines, and similar materials), and the course itself are protected by copyright law and are the exclusive intellectual property of Talking About AI.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use this content solely for your personal educational purposes related to this course. You agree not to copy, share, replicate, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, or exploit any part of this course content for any other uses whatsoever.
Prohibited Actions
Users may NOT, and may NOT knowingly allow others to:
- Copy, share, replicate, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, or exploit any part of this course content
- Create derivative works, transmit, or publicly display course content
- Share login information with others to enable course access
- Upload course materials to third-party websites or platforms
- Sell or distribute the course materials to others, whether for a fee or not
- Recreate or repurpose the course content as your own
- Provide materials to commercial note-takers or similar services
Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material, including unauthorized peer-to-peer file sharing websites or social media, is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
5. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
"As Is" Basis
The course content is provided on an "as is" basis and may contain errors. There is no warranty that access will be uninterrupted.
No Professional Advice
The information provided in this course is for educational purposes only and should not be construed as professional advice (e.g., financial, legal, health, or investment advice).
Results Not Guaranteed
While high-quality educational content is provided, individual results and outcomes may vary based on various factors, including commitment, skills, and effort. Specific results or outcomes from taking this course are not guaranteed.
Technology Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring the necessary technology and internet access to participate in the online course. The provider is not responsible for technical issues arising from your equipment or internet connection.
Third-Party Resources
The course may include links to third-party websites or resources. The provider is not responsible for the content or availability of these external resources and disclaims any liability for the use of them.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Talking About AI be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of the course, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
6. Acceptable Use and Conduct
Compliance with Laws
You agree to use the online course in a way that conforms to all applicable laws and regulations.
Prohibited Actions
You agree not to:
- Transmit any harmful code or viruses
- Impersonate others
- Engage in any activity that could disable, damage, or impair the course's functionality or the provider's systems
- Submit any content that is illegal, offensive, harassing, or infringes upon others' intellectual property rights
Non-Disparagement
You agree not to engage in any activity that disparages or discredits the Provider or the course, or uses the course content in a way that is offensive, defamatory, abusive, or discriminatory.
Consequences of Violations
Consequences for violating these terms will result in account suspension, termination of access, being banned from courses and community spaces by Talking About AI, and potential legal action to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement will be resolved through mediation or litigation in the courts of the United States.
8. Refund Policy
General Refund Eligibility
Talking About AI only provides refunds for individuals who purchase/checkout their course directly from our website/platform. We don't provide refunds for purchases made/stored elsewhere (third party purchases).
Requests for full refunds must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of enrollment AND before accessing 1% of the course materials/assignments. All other terms and conditions must be followed to be eligible for a refund.
Refund Schedule
- Within 30 days, 0% course completed: Full course refund minus any non-refundable fees
- Within 48 hours, 0% course completed: Full course refund
- After 48 hours, 1-2% course completed: 75% refund minus any non-refundable fees
- After 48 hours, 3% course completed: 50% refund minus any non-refundable fees
- 4% or more course completed: No refund will be issued
Withdrawal Process
To request a refund:
- Send an email to talks.about.ai@gmail.com with the subject line: Refund Request – [Your Name] – [Course Name]
- Include your full name and email address used in purchasing the course
- Clearly state the reason for requesting a refund
- Attach any relevant documentation (if applicable)
Refund Processing
Our team will review the request and contact you within 2-3 business days. If approved, refunds will be processed within 12-15 business days through the original payment method.
9. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and any other agreements referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Provider regarding the course/platform.
Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Modifications
Talking About AI reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised version on the website. Continued use of the course after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
